Jamie Arpin-Ricci is an urban missionary, pastor, church planter and writer living in Winnipeg’s inner city West End neighbourhood.  He is founding co-director of Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Urban Ministries Winnipeg with his Australian wife Kim.  They are in the midst of adopting their first child from Ethiopia.  He has served with YWAM in Canada since 1994, bringing him to 9 nations.

In addition to writing for several blogs and zines, Jamie published his first book several years ago.  His current writing project is an exploration of the Sermon on the Mount as a model for the spiritual and missional formation of Christian communities.  In the midst of his ministry and writing, he became personally inspired by St. Francis of Assisi, a key source of inspiration for founding Little Flowers Community.  Little Flowers is a new missional church plant, a partnership between YWAM & Mennonite Church Manitoba of which Jamie is the pastor.

Jamie is also a third order Franciscan with The Company of Jesus.  He made full professional in October 2009.
