As I have mentioned here before, my new book “The Cost of Community: Jesus, St. Francis & Life in the Kingdom” (Likewise Books) will be released in November. In the mean time, I’ve set up a Facebook page here where you can get update, read excerpts and join in some great conversation about what it means to follow Jesus together. Since Facebook has not repaired the “suggest to friends” feature, help me out by joining on the page & sharing with your friends. Thanks so much!
Here’s what Phyllis Tickle has to say about the book:
“Filled with the sweetness of good stories well told and the quietness of an evolving wisdom, The Cost of Community is as appealing as it is informing. Vowed communal living is not for every Christian, but this chronicle about it certainly is.”

Awesome to get a blurb from Phyllis. I was privileged to be able to spend a few minutes with her at a couple of the Pastor’s conferences. She’s the real deal.
Dana
I agree, Dana. I was able to share a meal with her and a small group while she was here in Winnipeg a while back. What an amazing woman!
This looks very interesting. Looking forward to reading it.
Thanks Adam. Your site looks great, by the way.
Peace,
Jamie
