A friend of mine once wrote: The Father is the source of humility.

May the Son who emptied himself give you the power in his Spirit to remain "hidden".

I totally understand this, Jamie. I have been helped my remembering what I learned from the founder of the Ideaism (no L intended), which is: to be is to be perceived ... and the ultimate perceiver is God. He is leading me to value HIS perceptions as those that are true and valid, not those of others. I find that when I put my trust in the perceptions of others, I am on sinking sand.

I have also been pondering the chapter about verbs in The Shack ... and the insightful conversation about how we tend to give up living in expectancy for the bonds of expectations as well as forgetting that we are to rely on the Holy Spirit to help us respond to our circumstances freely rather than accept the chains of responsibilities.

May the Spirit blow fresh wind into your sails, friends! May the knowledge of their presence awaken you to the excitement of expectancy. May your Dance with the 3-in-one compel your response to draw deeper into the dance of community as you lead those around you toward the winsome Truth of the Perceiver.

Grace and Peace to you and your community.
