Previous Post – A Tale of Two Book Reviews

(I love linkin’…)
It’s that time again! With the long weekend here, I hope you enjoy some good reading, both online and off:
-My interview with Adam McHugh about his excellent book “Introverts in the Church” has become (and continues to be) the most popular post I have had in years. If you missed it, read it and pre-order the book. This is a critical issue for the Church in the West. (Note: Check out this great news from Adam’s blog).
-About a year ago we bought the domain www.littleflowers.ca hoping that our vision for a church plant would come into being. Now, a year later, we are really blessed to see that a true community has formed. In the 8 months since we started we have seen great joy and great tragedy. From public suicide and cancer to new believers and healed hearts, we have been humbled by what God has entrusted in us. Keep us in prayer, as we are going into a season with some HUGE changes (news to come soon).
-As most of you know, I have been in formation as a third order Franciscan with The Company of Jesus. At the beginning of October I finish the formation process and formally enter the Order. I am really excited, as the pattern & rhythm of life it has introduced to me has meant a great deal. More than anything, it is a wonderful community that has embraced me. I hope to celebrate it with our community on October 4th, which is the Feast of St. Francis.
-My good friend Crystal has been working hard to develop her blog, Adventures of Deesa. She is great writer who is so enjoyable to read. Stop by, read her posts and drop her a comment. She gets better at it with every post.
-I grew up reading Dr. Seuss and enjoyed it. This great comic story won the day with me. Love it!
