Previous Post – Poverty & Power – Dewi Hughes Interview

Here’s another round of links for ya, just off the cuff… (groan):
-The only thing more shocking than the story of Jaycee Lee Dugard’s kidnapping is the story of her return 18 years later. This family will need much prayer.
-I don’t know many of the details, but what this church is doing seems like it is daring, brave and exciting. If you know any more details, feel free to share them below.
-More people need to be aware of the fact that there are more slaves today than ever before in history. This story & book excerpt are worth the time to read. While I understand, this is one of the reasons I left the family tradition of journalism.
-We are still looking for a few more people to participate in our Justice Discipleship Training School (JDTS) coming up soon. We especially need more guys. Know any one? Willing to promote it for us? Let me know.
-I am again thrilled to promote the upcoming release of the Mosaic Bible, for which I contributed a meditation. Here are a couple of great photos of the Bible (inside & out) via Keith Williams, Editor of the project:

-Finally, Brenden sent me the following video. As an interesting side note, this is EXACTLY how I met my wife… almost:

Wow… how could Kim resist?
Loved your post! Yes, so many links – but valuable.
Thanks Carrie! I do my best for ya!
Peace,
Jamie
I followed your link to the Rolling Hills Church. Wow! They are bold, brave and exciting! I would love to see way more of that happening. That is what it is supposed to be like! I will be praying for them to follow Christ’s example and to continue to be bold enough to fight pressure.
I agree, Crystal! Though, if Little Flowers sold their building, we’d be homeless! (wink)
Peace,
Jamie
